While no reason was given for his departure, Tomahawk Nation is reporting that Henry’s attitude and maturity issues clashed with the coaching staff.

Henry was featured in Sporting News’ list of top quarterbacks from the 2016 class. He was ranked by 247Sports as the No. 2 overall quarterback for 2016 and No. 9 recruit overall.

With the departure before he played a single game at IMG, Henry is likely headed back to California for his senior season with the reasons for his departure from IMG still to be announced. Sources tell Tomahawk Nation that Henry is reaching out to high schools in California.
